How do I buy a ticket?
 
 

There are two simple and convenient ways to purchase your Bus tickets in advance—online and over the phone. While we recommend that you buy in advance as seats get filled fast during weekends and holidays.

Buy tickets online - You can purchase tickets online at www.slimtrip.com as long as seats are available before departure. After purchase you will receive an SMS and e-mail confirmation that also serves as your boarding pass.

Buy tickets over the phone — A simple call to 040-6613-6613 also allows you to speak directly with an operator and book advance purchase fares. We donot charge any extra booking fee. After purchase you will receive a ticket confirmation number that will serve as your boarding pass and a receipt for your purchase. Like online purchases, a confirmation number guarantees you a seat on your ticketed schedule. Our customer service lines are available daily from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. IST.

How can I cancel my bus ticket online?  
 

You need to click on the Cancel link provided on the right side of our home page. Enter your ticket number that was provided at the time of booking and click on cancel ticket. You can find your ticket number in your mail box or in the message that we have sent when the ticket was booked.

What happens if I miss my schedule?  
 

Tickets are non-refundable and only good for travel on the schedule & date that you have purchased. Slimtrip.com will refund the ticket charges to the bank account used to make the booking, in case you miss the bus/ flight due to Slimtrip.com or its affliate’s fault. However, if the bus/flight is missed due to any other reason not directly related to Slimtrip.com NO refund is provided.

 
Can I use more than one cash coupon during a single transaction?
 

  Yes. You can use more than one cash coupon during a single transaction on Slimtrip.com. You can enter as many as 3 coupons per transaction. However each coupon can be used only once. Every time you enter a new cash coupon number, you submit the number using 'calculate'. The balance after the transaction will be associated with the new cash coupon.

I don't want the cash coupon - I want my money back. What do I do?
 

The cash coupon policy was introduced for convenience to the user so that they don't have to go through the payment procedure all over again. However, if you wish to encash the cash coupon, you can do so by sending us a mail on refund@slimtrip.com. We will require your cash coupon number, and the bank / card details you used while making a payment the time you transacted. The money will reflect in your card / account within 10 business days.

What is a GreenTicket?
 

A GreenTicket is an SMS that is sent to your mobile on booking a ticket with select operators. This SMS has the Ticket number and the Operator PNR number along with other ticket related information. It can be used to board the bus. Please note that not all operators accept GreenTickets. To know which operators are GrreenTicket enabled, look for the GreeTicket icon under the GreenTicket column while searching for buses.

I didn’t receive my greenTicket on mobile. Can you re-send it?
 

You can generate your GreenTicket online. Click on the Print/SMS ticket link on the home page on www.slimtrip.com. Enter your Ticket Number mentioned on the e-ticket we e-mailed you. Choose the SMS option and click on Submit. In case you don’t have a copy of the e-ticket either, contact our call center and our executive will assist you.

I entered the wrong mobile number while booking. Can I get my GreenTicket on a different number?
 

Sure you can. Please contact our call center and our executive will send you the GreenTicket on your desired number.

How do you set your fares?
 

We donot have any control over the fares that are charged against the tickets that you purchase over Slimtrip.com. It’s the Bus /Airline operator who manipulates the ticket fares according to the demand. And please be informed that we donot charge any extra Booking Fees on Slimtrip.com when you book your ticket.

What happens if I arrive late... very close to departure time?

 

What are the rules on baggage?

 


In case you arrive late to board the bus. Please call on the contact numbers provided to you through e-ticket/ GreenTicket(SMS) and talk to the driver/ bus attendant to board the bus in the next possible boarding point.

 

 

You are allowed one piece of baggage under the coach and two small bags to carry on (purse or backpack). The carry on bags should be small enough to fit in the overhead bin. The bus attendant will assist you for placing your bags in the baggage bin under the bus and retrieving your bags at the destination. If you need assistance with your baggage, ask and the bus attendent will be glad to assist you. We recommend that you properly tag all bags and place your name, address and phone number on the inside.
